Certified Corrections Supervisor (CCS)
Who should take the CCS exam?
This category includes individuals at the “mid-management” level who work with
both staff and offenders in a correctional setting. It includes those
responsible for implementing agency procedures and supervising/evaluating
personnel.
• Central/Regional Office staff, Business Office personnel
• Correctional Supervisors, Training Officers
• Food/Health Service Staff, Maintenance staff, Recreation personnel, Industries
personnel
• Caseworkers/Correctional Counselors, Chaplains, Teachers, Staff Psychologists,

Qualifications: Education and Work Requirements
• Associate degree OR HS/GED + 5 years of full-time corrections experience
• One (1) year work experience in present position at the supervisory level.
CCS Certification Program Fee:
• ACA member: $180
• Non-ACA member: $225
