Certified Corrections Nurse (CCN)
Who should take the CCN exam?
This category includes staff nurses, who work in a correctional environment and
who work with both staff and offenders. It includes those responsible for
implementing agency policies and procedures.
• Staff “line” Nurses
• Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN), Licenses Vocational
Nurse (LVN)

Qualifications: Education and Work Requirements
• “Line” nurse in a staff position who does not supervise other staff

• One (1) year correctional nursing experience in current position

• Non-ACA member: $225
