The Tennessee Department of Correction is currently accepting applications for Assistant Commissioner of Community Supervision. The Assistant Commissioner will provide administration, program management, strategic planning, and executive leadership to all Probation, Parole, and Community Supervision employees statewide. The salary range for this position is $13,017 to $21,667 per month.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• An ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of and substantial experience in all areas of Probation and/or Pretrial Services, knowledge of relevant sentencing guidelines, applicable statutes and case law, and applicable Rules of Criminal Procedure.
• Experience equivalent to ten years of progressively responsible specialized experience in the investigation, supervision, counseling, and guidance of offenders in a community corrections or pretrial program is required.
• At least five of those years must be in a managerial capacity, overseeing staff or programs in Community Supervision.
