Position: Assistant Commissioner of Rehabilitative Services (Nashville, TN)

Job Description:

The Tennessee Department of Correction is currently accepting applications for Assistant Commissioner of Rehabilitative Services. The Assistant Commissioner provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the division, ensuring the Department’s education, offender workforce development, counseling, offender employment, transition housing, and faith-based initiatives are conducted in alignment with evidence-based practices and departmental policy. The salary range for this position is $13,017 to $21,667 per month.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ideal candidate for this position will have a master’s or doctorate degree.
• Ten years of increasingly complex related experience, preferably in a correctional setting.
• It is preferred that the candidate have experience managing rehabilitative services programs at the executive level, preferably in a correctional organization or in relation to a secured population.
