Title: Tillman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine Clinical Faculty Position in the Correctional Health Division

           

 

Summary:

 

This faculty physician will be responsible for providing medical care to individuals in custody within the Harris County Jail in Houston, Texas. Clinicians will need to manage chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and thyroid disorders as well as acute conditions such as coughs, sexually transmitted infections, and acute injuries. Clinicians will utilize the EPIC electronic medical record and coordinate care within Harris Health System. Clinicians are able to work flexible schedules of 8 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours are available with additional compensation for nights and weekends.
