Position Description:
The coordinator provides overall support to the Office of Correctional Health (OCH) in the areas of health and treatment programs charged with improving the conditions of correctional health issues that include: medical, dental, mental health, and substance use disorders. Works closely with OCH Health Specialists and Director to advance correctional health issues through collaboration and partnership with corrections professionals and correctional agencies. The coordinator works closely with other ACA department staff members to advance communication and information dissemination through conference calls, webinars, newsletters, and websites or social media. Participates in relevant programmatic meetings, coalition, and networking activities.

The coordinator supports the following functions of the Office of Correctional Health in the areas of behavioral health and treatment programs such as:
Required Qualifications
· Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential job functions
Preferred Qualifications
· Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills,
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills,
· Strong organizational and work ethics,
· Ability to multitask several projects while maintaining sharp attention to detail,
· Knowledgeable of correctional health issues,
· Ability to work independently and in teams, and
· Capacity to complete projects promptly.
Pay and Benefits
$48,000 - $52,000 per year
Salary is negotiable and based on education and experience.
