*Position Description:

 The **Programs and Grants Manager** manages treatment programs for the Office of Correctional Health. The **Programs and Grants Manager** develops, promotes, and disseminates information for the programs for corrections professionals through the provisions of training, workshops, webinars, discussion forums, and professional certification. The **Programs and Grants Manager** facilitates these programs by collaborating with colleagues and relevant agencies.

 

 The **Programs and Grants Manager** is expected to communicate clearly and courteously; develops and maintains positive relationships with clients, directors, collaborators, co-workers, field sites, and funders; and works respectfully with colleagues. The **Programs and Grants Manager** has excellent writing and verbal skills; demonstrable initiative, creativity, and flexibility; ability to work independently and effectively in groups; and strong interpersonal & organizational skills. A **Programs and Grants Manager** must have knowledge or background in criminal justice or corrections. Completes other tasks as assigned.

 **Required Qualifications:**

 

 · Be legally able to work in the U.S.  

 · Proficient in Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel  

 · Must be highly organized and detail-oriented  

 · Must be able to multi-task and set priorities  

 · Must be able to travel to two annual conferences  

 · Must be able to work with minimum supervision  

 · Must have excellent communication skills (speaking, listening, and writing)

 

 **Preferred Qualifications:**

 

 · A master’s level degree in a healthcare field  

 · Minimum of three years of work experience related to Correctional or Public Health  

 · Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential job functions  

 · Proven customer service skills
